CONGRATULATIONS  to Macy and "Waylon" - 2019 Illinois State Fair Overall Reserve Champion Market Lamb and Champion Land of Lincoln Market Lamb

The wet Spring of 2019 allowed us to be more involved with the Mercer County Farm Bureau's ACE Camp, hosting 2nd graders from throughout the county.

Kids loved the combine and getting to sit in the driver's seat!

"Stetson" was a great sport and assistant for the Ag in the Classroom Beef lesson.

Our Harvest Crews wouldn't know what to do without this lady!

They are beyond spoiled when it comes to mealtime. Seriously- what other farms have hand cut, breaded tenderloins, cheesy potatoes and homemade apple crisp delivered to the field for lunch??? And yes, it's to that caliber everyday!!

Thank you, Angie DeBlock!

2018 Illinois State Fair Reserve Champion WFX - Kaitlynn and "Chip"

These girls have come a long way with their lambs in a short amount of time - we are so proud of them!

The DeBlock Girls had a successful and VERY FUN 2017 Mercer County Fair. All three can't wait to show at the Illinois State Fair in August.

Teaching kids in the  Sherrard Elementary Schools about the source of the hamburger on their plate. DeBlock Farms is greatful for the opportuity to pair with the Mercer County Farm Bureau's Ag in the Classroom program.

Getting a 2nd grader to accept the progression from a calf to a piece of beef takes some gently wordsmithing!
